ReadWriteThink Printing Press

With ReadWriteThink's Printing Press students can create a booklet, flyer, brochure, or newspaper fairly easily. There is a nice guide that walks you through the process and the focus is on writing. There is a place within each publication for a picture, but not one that you can add from your computer. This space is reserved for students to draw a picture after printing.

Introducing TED-Ed

Introducing TED-Ed: Lessons Worth Sharing:
TED-Ed’s commitment to creating lessons worth sharing is an extension of TED’s mission of spreading great ideas. Within the growing TED-Ed video library, you will find carefully curated educational videos, many of which represent collaborations between talented educators and animators nominated through the TED-Ed platform. This platform also allows users to take any useful educational video, not just TED's, and easily create a customized lesson around the video. Users can distribute the lessons, publicly or privately, and track their impact on the world, a class, or an individual student

ShowMe - The Online Learning Community

ShowMe - The Online Learning Community:
ShowMe is an open learning community where you can learn or teach any subject. Watch great lessons for free, or create your own. Create and record audio-annotated drawings. Fabulous for demonstrating long division, labeling the parts of a flower, teach a grammar lesson, etc. This is a also great tool for the flipped classroom!
